RESP 1505 - Cardiopulmonary Anatomy and Physiology Credits: 2 Students will complete an in-depth study of the anatomy and physiology of the cardiopulmonary system, including ventilatory physics and mechanics, gas diffusion, physiology of internal and external respiration, oxygen transport, carbon dioxide transport and elimination, ventilation / perfusion relationships, and the neurological control of ventilation. This course is offered in the fall semester.
Prerequisite: Admission to the Respiratory Therapy Program
