RESP 1507 - Respiratory Therapy I

Students will learn the theory of equipment, procedures, and related concepts for patients requiring general acute cardiopulmonary care. In addition, students will gain an in-depth understanding of medical gas administration, humidity and aerosol therapy, safety systems, patient assessment and infection control. Students will develop basic respiratory care skills necessary to enter the hospital environment. Course Fees: $40.00 This course is offered in the fall semester.
