FDSC 1530 - Food Safety Credits: 2 Students will develop skills in a variety of food handling, food storage, and food safety concepts. Students will explore food chemistry principles, food safety, and sanitation methods, and Hazard Analysis Critical Control Point (HACCP) Systems. Through this course, students will have the opportunity to complete the American Meat Science Association Food Safety and Science Certification.
