MCHT 1520 - Introduction to Manufacturing

Students are introduced to the manufacturing field to gain an understanding of the history of manufacturing and where it is headed towards – Industry 4.0.  Students explore safety rules, regulations and practices related to job site hazards, personal protective equipment, hazard communication and electrical safety as it pertains to the manufacturing environment.  This course is offered in the fall and spring semesters.
