IST 1900 - Industrial Instrumentation

Students identify both National Electrical Manufacturing Association (NEMA) and International Electroctechnical Commission (IEC) schematic symbols related to instrumentation. Students analyze characteristics and explain the operation of instrumentation commonly used in industry. Students examine measurement variables in industrial applications. This course is a comprehensive exercise in both applied schematics as well as the overall theory and operation of instrumentation.

Prerequisite: Completion of IST 1712.
