IST 1500 - Theoretical Concepts of Rotating Machines

Students engage in a comprehensive study of magnetism, magnetic induction, single phase and three phase transformers operation, theory of AC and DC motor and generator operation, and calculating line and phase values in three-phase circuits. Students examine the operational principles and characteristics of these machines through lectures and hands-on demonstrations.

Prerequisite: Completion of IST 1712.
