ACCT 2010 - Principles of Accounting I Credits: 3 Students examine the role of accounting information in business and society. Utilizing critical thinking and decision-making skills, students prepare and analyze financial statements using Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP). Students evaluate how this financial information is used in making business decisions. This course is offered in the fall and spring semester only.
Prerequisite: Completion of ENGL 0810 and MATH 0975 or equivalent placement.
