EDUC 2100 - Practicum in Teaching

Credits: 3
In this capstone course, students explore educational topics such as the classroom environment, learning differences, and pedagogy. In addition, students spend 60 hours in a school setting to observe, assist in the classroom, and teach a formal lesson under the supervision of a classroom teacher. Note: Students must successfully pass a criminal background check to be eligible for this course.

Prerequisite: Completion of EDST 2250 and a GPA of 2.5 or higher.
