GEOL 1100 - Physical Geology

Students identify common minerals and rocks and explain how igneous, sedimentary, and metamorphic rocks form. Students acquire scientific knowledge about the movement of crustal plates, interior Earth processes, and external Earth processes including water cycles and resources.
