HMSV 1110 - Ethics for Helping Professions Credits: 3 Students are introduced to the study of applied professional ethics. Issues concerning due process, least restrictive environment, right to treatment, dual relationships, client advocacy, value clarification, and professional responsibility are discussed. Case studies will be analyzed with professional standards applied. Students are encouraged to take this course later in their program. 0 This course is offered in the fall and spring semesters.
Prerequisite: Completion of PSYC 1000 and ENGL 1010 .
