IST 1810 - Programmable Logic Controllers

Students explore the basic operation of programmable logic controllers (PLCs). They examine the hardware and software used to control automated industrial processes. Students learn how to develop basic ladder logic diagrams to perform specific operations. Students assemble, program, and operate PLCs and develop knowledge of industrial system components used in automated systems. Course Fees: $50.00
Prerequisite: Completion of IST 1710 and IST 1712 .
