LEGL 2500 - Civil Procedure Credits: 3 A study of the litigation process, including the Federal and Wyoming Rules of Civil Procedure. Students acquire skills in performing the functions and duties of a legal assistant in the litigation process, including the drafting of documents, such as pleadings, motions, discovery documents, and trial notebooks. Because both LEGL 2550 and LEGL 2500 cover various aspects of the civil litigation process, students are strongly encouraged to take these courses in consecutive semesters.
Prerequisite: Completion of LEGL 1500 and LEGL 1710 , or permission of instructor.
