IMAG 1500 - Cross-sectional Anatomy

Students will explore human anatomy as seen in various anatomical and regional areas in the body, to include transverse, sagittal, and coronal planes. Students will identify the anatomy of the human head, thorax, spine, abdomen, pelvis and extremities. Students correlate cross-sectional images from various modalities and recognize normal anatomy, anatomic variants, and selected pathology.Credits: 2
Prerequisite: Acceptance into Sonography or Cardiovascular (Formerly the Echocardiography) Program
Corequisite: Concurrent enrollement in IMAG 1501.
