ENGL 1040 - Intro to Creative Writing

This course is intended for non-English majors and serves to guide students’ understanding of the creative process and its relevance to their own interests and goals. Students learn introductory craft, analysis, and revision skills as they relate to creative writing. Students read a variety of literary genres from different societal, cultural, and historical contexts, analyze and reflect on their own craft choices, and produce multiple drafts of creative writing in multiple genres.Credits: 3
