GIST 2310 - Intro to Geographic Information Systems An introductory Geographic Information Systems (GIS) course. Students explore the use of computers in displaying and analyzing spatial information. Students acquire skills in manipulating geographic data for a variety of uses including: natural resource management, planning, health care, Homeland Security, agriculture, and others. Students should be familiar with Windows-based computer operating systems as well as file management procedures.Course Fees: $75.00Credits: 4 Prerequisite: Completion of ENGL 0810 .
