MATH 1105 - Data, Probability, and Algebra for Elementary School Teachers
This is the second of a three-course sequence involving a study of the mathematics necessary for teaching basic arithmetic to elementary school students. Successful students demonstrate knowledge of appropriate statistical methods, representations, graphical displays, and technological tools to analyze and draw conclusions using data. Using elementary probability theory, students predict the chance of future events. Using algebra, students generalize and communicate patterns.Credits: 3
