ZOO 2010 - Human Anatomy & Physiology I Credits: 4 The first semester of a two-semester course in which students explore the structure and function of the human body. Students examine the following systems: integumentary, skeletal, muscular, nervous systems, and the special senses. Students develop vocabulary including histology and directional and anatomical terms. Students explore homeostatic and functional mechanisms from a molecular, cellular, and organ level. Students are recommended to complete CHEM 1000 or higher prior to enrolling in this course.
Prerequisite: Completion of or concurrent enrollment in MATH 1400 or completion of BIOL 1010 .
