AUTO 1620 - Engine Management Systems Credits: 4 Students explore various types of fuel delivery, ignition, and emmision control systems currently being used by vehicle manufacturers to maximize engine performance. Students will utilize diagnostic test procedures to identify properly operating components while searching for faults. Emphasis is placed on developing a comprehensive understanding of all electrical components used within these systems. Students work towards completing ASE/NATEF task list for Engine Performance A-8.
Prerequisite: Completion of or concurrent enrollment in AUTO 1765 .
