CSEC 1520 - Network Attack Principles

Credits: 4
Students scan, test, and attack secure systems in an interactive lab environment. Students analyze perimeter defenses, attacker tactics, intrusion detection, policy creation, and results reporting. At the conclusion of this course, students may be eligible to sit for the CompTIA PenTest+ certification exam or an equivalent. The student pays an additional fee for course resources.

Prerequisite: Completion of CSEC 1500, CSCO 2000, and CMAP 1960 or instructor consent.
