MGT 3415 - Applied Human Resources Management Credits: 3 Students analyze the strategic role of the human resource manager in performing functions of recruitment, hiring, training, and career development within a business. Students study the formal systems used to manage people at work, such as job analysis and evaluation, wage and salary administration, performance evaluation, safety, employee services and fringe benefits. Students evaluate procedural compliance of EEO, diversity, and other legal aspect of managing people. Students develop comprehensive management plans to recruit, evaluate, and promote employees within a successful organization.
Prerequisite: Completion of MGT 3210 .
