The AA in Art program is designed for students who wish to explore and prepare for a wide range of career options in visual arts. Completing this program may qualify students for a variety of employment in visual art fields, including as entrepreneurs, designers, educators, and artists. This program offers coursework intended to transfer to a four-year university, allowing students to pursue a baccalaureate degree in Graphic Design, Illustration, Marketing, or Education. The program also provides students with skills to establish meaningful self-employment in the Art field. The competencies of TREX 2000 are embedded into this program to ensure students benefit from and complete the requirements of the Transition Experience prior to graduating from LCCC.
