The Patrol Peace Officer Associate of Applied Science is designed for students who wish to prepare for careers as a Patrol Peace Officer. This is a closed program. Enrollment in this program is limited to cadets accepted by and enrolled in the Wyoming Highway Patrol Academy. This program of study includes coursework from the WHP Basic Academy and the Wyoming Highway Patrol Academy Credit Diplomas. This program offers coursework intended to satisfy the application requirements for the Applied Management BAS. Students are also eligible for immediate employment.

Transfer Information
The Patrol Peace Officer program is intended for students who are wishing to obtain an Applied Management, BAS at LCCC. Most of the potential careers within the Criminal Justice field, including Law Enforcement, Correctional Institutions, Probation and Parole and Pre-Law require you to transfer and continue your education at the next level.
LCCC courses may transfer to institutions in addition to those with formal articulation agreements. Students are strongly encouraged to determine the degree requirements and transfer policy of the specific college/university and program to which they plan to transfer.
