The Diesel Technology Fundamentals program provides a hands-on and immersive experience in the heavy-duty diesel industry. Students will learn the fundamental theory and operation of modern heavy-duty diesel engines, engine assembly and disassembly, engine management systems including diagnostics, troubleshooting and emissions controls as well as electrical systems design, service and repair. Students who complete the Diesel Technology Fundamentals program are prepared to pass entry-level ASE certification exams, prepare for continued related training in the diesel industry or seek out entry level employment in the diesel industry.
