PTAT 2030 - Functional Kinesiology for the Physical Therapist Assistant Credits: 4 Students explore the application of human anatomy to the study of human movement patterns. Students identify normal versus abnormal movement with the use of posture analysis, gait analysis, functional movement and sport activities. Students apply information demonstrated for data collection including manual muscle testing, goniometry measurements, and palpation techniques to the application in the physical therapy field.
Prerequisite: Admission into the Physical Therapist Assistant program.
