IMAG 2620 - Cardiac Sonography Clinical Experience II

Students are placed at various sites to build upon skills acquired in the previous clinical experience, IMAG 2615. Under supervision, students demonstrate competency in clinical and patient skills as well as correlation of pathological processes and normal variants to ultrasound imaging. Utilizing correct sonography equipment settings and operations, students observe, perform and attempt ultrasound competencies of the adult cardiac system. Students receive training, feedback, and supervision from a registered cardiac sonographer.

Prerequisite: Completion of IMAG 2615.
