The Elementary & Early Childhood Education program is designed for students who wish to explore coursework within the early childhood and elementary education fields. This program offers coursework intended to transfer to a four-year college or university allowing students to pursue a baccalaureate degree in Elementary & Early Childhood Education for a career in a public or private school setting for young children. This program requires that students successfully pass a criminal background check.

Completing this program may qualify students for employment as a childcare worker, preschool teacher, substitute teacher, childcare center director, nanny, or elementary (K-6) teacher in a public or private school setting.

Students must pass a background check to enroll in the practicum course, EDUC 2100 .
Students must have a minimum 2.5 cumulative GPA to enroll in the practicum course, EDUC 2100 .
Students should choose between Elementary & Early Childhood Education or Secondary Education.
