ECON 1020 - Microeconomics Credits: 3 Students examine how markets solve the issue of economic scarcity and how the decisions and behaviors of consumers, producers, government, and the market structure affect market outcomes. Students analyze market failure, where markets fail to produce efficient results, and describe the theoretical conditions needed for perfect competition.
Prerequisite: Completion of MATH 1400 .
