ADDN 1016 - Physiological Actions of Drug and Alcohol Abuse

Students identify the classifications of drugs and the physiological effects of these psychoactive substances on the user. Management of chronic and acute conditions, drug interactions, prevention and treatment are covered. This course provides six hours of communicable disease training in the areas of transmission, occupational safety, and standard precautions.

Prerequisite: Completion of ENGL 0810 or equivalent placement.
