KIN 2135 - Personal Trainer Education Credits: 3 Students are introduced to the principles of exercise physiology and client assessment. Students learn to properly screen clients for safe participation in an exercise program, utilize different tools for assessing a clients’ fitness level, and identify appropriate assessment techniques for a wide variety of clientele. Students learn components of program design for resistance, cardiorespiratory, comprehensive, and personal training sessions.
Prerequisite: Completion of PEAC 1295 . Corequisite: Concurrent enrollment in HLTK 1210 and HOEC 1140 .
