LEGL 2550 - Evidence and Investigation

Credits: 3
Students demonstrate skills in interviewing clients and witnesses and locating information necessary when preparing a case for trial. Students apply the basic state and federal rules governing the admissibility of evidence and acquire skills in preparing and handling evidence for courtroom use. Students prepare a variety of pre-trial documents. Because both LEGL 2500  and LEGL 2550 cover various aspects of the civil litigation process, students are strongly encouraged to take these courses in consecutive semesters. This course is offered in the spring semester.

Prerequisite: Completion of LEGL 1500 and LEGL 1710.
