COMM 2100 - Media Writing

This course teaches students the fundamentals of clear, concise, and engaging writing across various media platforms. Students will learn to craft compelling leads, structure stories, and apply Associated Press style. The course emphasizes developing strong interviewing skills, ethical standards, and effective story planning techniques, including the Maestro Concept. By the end, students will have foundational skills for reporting, editing, and adapting content for digital, print, and broadcast media.Credits: 3
