FIN 1001 - Personal Financial Planning Credits: 1 Students examine the foundations of personal financial planning. Students explore the following topics: the financial planning process, financial statements, taxes, and the management of basic assets such as cash and savings instruments, and purchasing strategies for consumer goods and automobiles. Students examine key concepts and procedures used in sound personal financial planning and effective money management.
Prerequisite: Completion of ENGL 0810 or equivalent placement.
