The AS in Equine Science is intended for students who are wishing to transfer to a university and obtain a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree. Most of the potential jobs listed below require a student to transfer and continue their education at the next level. Potential job opportunities for individuals with degrees in equine science may include equine scientists, equine geneticists, equine nutritionists, assistant general manager, barn/stable manager, extension educator, ranch foreman, or sales representative.

The Equine Science Associate of Science is well suited for transfer to a Bachelor degree program.
