LEGL 2550 - Evidence and Investigation Credits: 3 Students demonstrate skills in interviewing clients and witnesses and locating information necessary when preparing a case for trial. Students apply the basic state and federal rules governing the admissibility of evidence and acquire skills in preparing and handling evidence for courtroom use. Students prepare a variety of pre-trial documents. Paralegal majors must take this course prior to enrolling in LEGL 2500 . Because LEGL 2500 is a continuation of this course, students are strongly encouraged to take these courses in consecutive semesters.
Prerequisite: Completion of LEGL 1500 . Corequisite: Concurrent enrollment in LEGL 1710 , ENGL 1010 , or permission of instructor.
